About the role:
Machines up to 60 tons travelling all over the world. Mechanics standing by to get them running perfectly again. And parts that have to arrive exactly on time, anywhere on the planet. That is where you come in.
As a Parts Specialist at Forkliftcenter you combine technology, commerce, and organization. You know what is under the hood, but you would rather stand on the other side of the workbench, making sure everything adds up. From quotation to delivery, from customer question to order confirmation.
You are the one who makes sure mechanics are never left waiting, customers are helped quickly, and margins stay where they should be. You are the link between the workshop, suppliers, and administration. You translate what a mechanic needs into the right part numbers, negotiate sharply, keep the overview in the system, and prevent downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Ordering parts and monitoring delivery times.

• Dealing with suppliers worldwide on a daily basis.

• Managing stock and keeping our ERP fully up to date.

• Taking part in purchasing projects and aligning prices.

• Processing incoming goods and checking deliveries.

• Preparing quotations and offers.

• Negotiating with customers.

• Planning delivery times and following up on them.

• Customer contact as a representative of Forkliftcenter.

• Reading data: analyzing consumption and proposing improvements.

What you bring:

• A technical foundation: you know what is under the hood (experience with forklifts, trucks, or heavy equipment is a plus).

• Familiarity with parts, warehouse processes, or ERP.

• Organized, eager to learn, solution focused.

• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.

• A fit for a down to earth, active working environment where pace and teamwork count.
