About the role:
As a Service Mechanic at Forkliftcenter, you work every day with impressive machines up to 65 tons, from brands such as Kalmar, Konecranes, Hyster, Mafi, and Terberg. In our workshop in Amsterdam, you carry out maintenance and overhauls on used forklifts and port equipment so they are ready again for rental or export. You make sure every machine functions perfectly again, both technically and in terms of safety and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out repairs and inspections on diesel, LPG, and electric forklifts.
Locating and resolving faults (mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical).
Repairing engines, axles, pumps, brakes, and hydraulic systems.
Carrying out welding, straightening, and frame repair work.
Preparing machines for transport or delivery.
Working with diagnostic equipment and technical drawings.
Occasionally carrying out work on-site at customer locations.
What you bring:
MBO level 3 or 4 education in a technical field (e.g. agricultural mechanization, automotive technology, commercial vehicle technology).
Demonstrable experience with maintenance or overhaul of heavy equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic knowledge of electronics.
Ability to read technical diagrams and analyze faults.
Good command of Dutch and/or English.
Driver's license B (E is a plus).
Precise, independent, and solution focused work attitude.
A Keurmeester (inspection) certificate is a plus, or you are willing to obtain one with us.

About the role:
After our machines are delivered, your work really begins. You make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and that the customer feels heard.
Responsibilities:
You contact customers after delivery, gather feedback, and monitor customer satisfaction.
You ensure documentation and parts packages are delivered on time and complete along with the machines.
You support the handling of complaints and claims quickly, professionally, and with a solution focused approach.
You coordinate the sale of our parts and spot upsell opportunities where possible.
You keep everything well documented in our systems and work closely with the service and sales departments.
You think along about process improvements and identify opportunities to strengthen our aftersales even further.
What you bring:
A technical background (education or work experience), for example in mechanical engineering, engineering, or mechatronics.
You communicate clearly and professionally, in both Dutch and English.
You are customer focused, but never lose sight of the bigger process.
You have an affinity for technology, service, and commercial opportunities.
You work in a structured way, think in terms of solutions, and enjoy variety.
Experience in aftersales or with parts management is a plus.

About the role:
As a Service Mechanic at Forkliftcenter, you work every day with impressive equipment: forklifts and heavy port equipment from leading brands. From our workshop in Amsterdam, you carry out maintenance, repairs, and inspections on machines belonging to customers worldwide. Occasionally you'll head out for a job at a customer's location. You combine technical insight with a practical mindset. On top of that, you make sure everything works the way it should.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out repairs and preventive maintenance on forklifts and port equipment.
Carrying out technical inspections in the workshop or on-site.
Analyzing and resolving faults (electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical).
Carrying out safety inspections in accordance with applicable standards.
Documenting work performed and reporting to colleagues and customers.
Working according to safety regulations and quality guidelines.
Occasionally carrying out service jobs at customer locations.
You work independently on your own projects, but can always count on support from colleagues in the workshop or field service.
What you bring:
MBO level 3 or 4 education in a technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering, automotive technology, electrical engineering).
At least 3 years of experience with maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, pneumatics, and PLC systems.
Certificates or brand training from Kalmar, Konecranes, or Hyster are a plus (or willingness to obtain them).
Ability to read technical drawings and independently resolve faults.
Good command of Dutch and/or English.
Driver's license B (E is a plus).
